Arrick grew up in a small town in Santa Barbara County, He attended college in Santa
Barbara, where he studied theatrical make-up and hair. He landed his first job on an independent film... then combed, spritzed, and teased his way to the top of national daytime and prime time television.

He works in busy Hollywood, having done such celebrities as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Patricia Heaton, Heather Tom, Sharon Case, Eva Longoria (The Young and The Restless) , Mary Hart, Jann Carl, Nicky Hilton, Paula Abdul, Vanessa Manillo, Rachael Ray, Joan Van Ark, Jacob Young (All My Children)...to name a few.

Along with working regularly on TV Shows such as Will and Grace, Life With Bonnie, Reba, Good Morning Miami, The Young and The Restless, Entertainment Tonight, How I met your Mother, and the new NBC series The Office, Arrick has been a stylist consultant for several publications.

Arrick has been four times nominated for an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Hairstyling" in a drama series. He also works as a freelance stylist for photo shoots (doing both hair and make-up), as well as keeping a chair at Romi Cortier Design Salon in Hollywood for his special clients. At the Salon, Arrick specializes in precision haircutting, color correction, highlighting, and full make-up application techniques.
